Amazon is now delivering orders by drones in California and Texas with the goal to finally fly out packages to prospects’ houses inside an hour, Ars Technica reports.

The retail large’s drone supply service, Amazon Prime Air, already dropped a small variety of packages through drone within the backyards of shoppers within the run-up to Christmas in Lockeford, California, and Faculty Station, Texas.

“Our goal is to soundly introduce our drones to the skies. We’re beginning in these communities and can steadily develop deliveries to extra prospects over time,” Amazon Air spokesperson Natalie Banke instructed KTXL Fox 40.
