President Donald Trump signed a brand new government order on Thursday to enhance the “usability and aesthetics” of US authorities companies by creating “first-class on-line and offline experiences for People.”
“It’s time to replace the Authorities’s design language to be each usable and delightful,” Trump said within the order, which establishes an America by Design initiative meant to “enhance comprehensively the visible presentation and value of Federal companies offered to the general public in each digital and bodily areas.”
A brand new Nationwide Design Studio is being set as much as facilitate this, led by a chief design officer — with Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia reportedly lined up for the place, according to Reuters.
