Midnight Society was co-founded in 2021 by Beahm, former Name of Responsibility inventive strategist Robert Bowling, and former 343 Industries lead sandbox designer Quinn Delhoyo.
“We’re actively searching for different sport studios that will be serious about providing employment alternatives to our proficient group members,” Midnight Society said in its shutdown announcement on X. “We specific our honest gratitude to every one in all our neighborhood members and deeply sorry we had been unable to succeed in our final aim.”
The “final aim” talked about in Midnight Society’s departing message was Deadrop — a free-to-play vertical extraction shooter that was initially funded by promoting NFTs on the peak of the blockchain gaming frenzy. Deadrop was anticipated to launch in 2024, and was the one sport being developed by Midnight Society.
