The music streaming app Tidal is shedding extra employees. In a statement to Fortune, an unnamed Tidal spokesperson confirmed “the elimination of some roles throughout our enterprise and design groups.”
On Wednesday, Fortune published a leaked memo from Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Tidal mum or dad firm Block Block Head, who mentioned that the corporate goes to “half methods with quite a lot of of us” on the group. “We’re decreasing the scale of our design group and foundational roles supporting TIDAL, and we’ll think about decreasing engineering over the following few weeks as now we have extra readability round management going ahead,” Dorsey wrote, in response to Fortune.
